Lindsey Daugherty – Colorado State Senator

After speaking with Phillip, it’s clear he’s a thoughtful, solutions-driven leader who truly cares about Westminster. He listens, works collaboratively, and brings common sense to the table. I’m confident he’ll be a strong voice on City Council focused on what matters and committed to our community. That’s why I’m proud to endorse him.

David DeMott – Westminster City Councillor and Candidate for Mayor

“As an 8-year member of the Westminster City Council, I am pleased to endorse Phillip Romero as he runs for Westminster City Council. Phillip’s leadership, rooted in service, compassion, and a deep love for our community, will be an asset to our city council. His background in safety, community service, and fiscal responsibility reflects his commitment to serving all residents of Westminster. I believe Phillip’s dedication and experience will help lead Westminster toward a strong, unified, and thriving future. I encourage our residents to support him in this election.”

Herb Atchison – Former Westminster Mayor

“Recently a group of Westminster residents gathered to meet with first time council candidates. Each candidate was invited to coffee to discuss their campaign. Of those invited, since the interview, one dropped out, one left to become a candidate for County office and two of the current candidates were unable to make time to meet with the group. You might think that any candidate would make time for a group of residents who may well end up supporting their candidacy. Of those who attended one has returned several times to gain further knowledge and insight into Westminster based on the background and experience of those who were conducting the interviews. The interview group collectively has over 90 years of experience in serving the city. The candidate that I found to be best qualified, based on several meetings with him was Phil Romero. He has demonstrated a good grasp of the issues facing Westminster and above all understands that this is not about partisan politics. I believe that he will continually look at each issue before him as a member of the council and ask “What is best for Westminster” whether he agrees with the issue or not.
I would ask the residents of the city to seek him out and give him your thoughts on what is best for the city so that he may gain further knowledge to base his decisions on. I would also strongly support him as a candidate for the position of Councilor in the November election and ask that you consider him for one of your votes.”

Doug Hall – Retired Westminster Fire Chief (43 years of service)

“Over the past months I have gotten to know Phillip Romero. I am excited to proclaim my support for Phillip Romero for Westminster City Council. Phil knows and understands the community. He has worked diligently to educate himself on the roles and responsibilities of a City Councillor. As a City Councillor Phil brings a wide range of experiences that will serve Westminster well. He is focused on doing what is best for Westminster residents and businesses. I am confident Phil will provide solid leadership and stewardship of taxpayers’ dollars ensuring these dollars bring value to the community. He actively demonstrates his strong support for public safety. I ask my fellow Westminster voters to support Phil Romero for Westminster City Council.”
